Oh, that looks safe. :) On a related note, Tuell fell out of a tree this morning while he was trimming limbs. Perhaps it's good these two don't live near each other. Who knows what crazy things they'd come up with...

A few years back we gave him an expanding pole and some attachments to do this job more safely. What did he do with them? Threw them away probably.

WHAT!!!!! If the ladder fell was he planning to pole vault through the window onto the concrete patio??
I'm going to remember this for the next time I need to reach the high ceiling. Great idea!

@BoGreenNews I think the attachments "got lost" in the move. (def of "got lost" - thrown in the trash because I didn't think I'd ever use them)
